Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use browser localStorage, a similar mechanism that stores data locally without an expiry date unless cleared manually. Both are used to keep the site functional and remember your preferences between visits.

2. What We Use and Why

Naian uses a small set of essential and analytics cookies. We do not run advertising networks or sell data to third parties.

Essential (always active)

These are required for core site functionality. They cannot be disabled without breaking the experience.

• Cookie consent preference: remembers whether you have accepted or declined analytics cookies so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Stored in localStorage.
• Chat session state: if you use the on-site chat widget, your session ID and display name are stored in localStorage so the conversation persists during your visit. Cleared when you close the chat.
• Popup dismissal: records whether you have closed the website design offer popup so it does not reappear. Stored in localStorage with no personal data.

Analytics (consent-gated)

Activated only after you accept analytics cookies via the banner.

• Vercel Analytics: anonymous, aggregated page view data. No personal identifiers are collected. Used to understand which pages are visited and how traffic flows through the site.
• Google Tag Manager: a container that loads additional measurement scripts if consent is granted. GTM itself does not set cookies; the scripts it loads may. All GTM scripts are loaded with analytics consent required.

Third-party (functional)

• Google reCAPTCHA v3: invisible spam protection on all public contact forms. Google may set cookies to assess whether a form submission is human. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
• Cal.com: if you click “Book a Call,” you are directed to an external Cal.com booking page. Cal.com operates under its own cookie and privacy policy.

3. Managing Your Preferences

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clicking the cookie preferences link in the site footer, or by clearing your browser's localStorage for this domain. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics data from being collected but does not delete data already recorded.

You can also disable cookies entirely in your browser settings. Note that disabling all cookies will prevent session state from persisting, which may affect the chat widget and popup behavior but will not prevent you from accessing any content on the site.

4. Session Cookies vs Persistent Storage

• Session cookies: exist only while your browser is open. We do not set first-party session cookies.
• Persistent localStorage: consent preferences and popup dismissal flags are stored with no automatic expiry. You can clear them manually via your browser's developer tools or storage settings.
• Third-party cookies: set by Google (reCAPTCHA) under their own retention policies. Analytics cookies set via GTM are subject to standard Google Analytics session and campaign durations.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when we add or remove tools that use cookies or local storage. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent change was made.
